9 ene. 2021: El triste final de la colonia / The sad end of the colony

Colonia textil fundada en el año 1895, inicialmente dio trabajo para los habitantes de la zona, pero su crecimiento hizo que vinieran trabajadores de varios puntos de España.
Los años 40 fue donde consiguió su máximo de trabajadores, llegando a vivir alrededor de las 1000 personas ya que la misma colonia disponía de viviendas para sus trabajadores y familias.
En los años 80 empezó su declive, desgraciadamente a inicios del 2008 sólo quedaban de 30 a 40 trabajadores y ese mismo año cerró definitivamente.
Actualmente su estado es muy variable, llegando a que algunas zonas están ya cayéndose al suelo y otras siguen en perfecto estado.
Desafortunadamente los destrozos provocados por desechos humanos están avanzando su deterioro.

The 40s was where it achieved its maximum number of workers, reaching around 1000 people living since the same neighborhood had housing for its workers and families.
Its decline began in the 1980s, unfortunately at the beginning of 2008 there were only 30 to 40 workers left and that same year it closed permanently.
Currently its state is very variable, reaching that some areas are already falling to the ground and others are still in perfect condition.
