Después de varias visitas a este emblemático hotel de la zona desde nuestros inicios en 2017, en. agosto volvimos nuevamente luego de que llegaran a nuestros oídos las últimas noticias de su estado actual, y la verdad es que nos da mucha tristeza verlo, en esta ocasión lo hemos inmortalizado en video por lo que pueda suceder en el futuro. Un poco de su historia: En 1910 un magnate catalán, el señor Puig, compró el terreno de la Masia de la Creu para construir un hotel, inaugurado hacia 1915 estaba destinado a todos los visitantes que quisieran ver el monasterio de Montserrat, se ofrecieron servicios de boda, bautizos y todo tipo de eventos, siendo un hotel de lujo. Cuando estalló la guerra civil, el hotel se convirtió en un hospital de sangre, albergando a los heridos del bando republicano, luego de la guerra se volvió a utilizar como hotel de lujo, poco a poco fue perdiendo fama hasta que finalmente fue abandonado en 1990.
